    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198310451242

    Victim profile: 76561198254565433

    What happened? Description:
This person posed as a valve employee/steam admin, i caught wind of his intentions early in his attempt. He seems to have attempted this before, looking at his pending report on Steamrep. so i'm adding this here to reinforce the situation.

I'm not sure how i know him, but I accept random adds from strangers so thats that. However, looking at my mutuals, it seems this person is from SEA TF2 community.

    Provide Evidence:

I don't think Valve had a new employee, and every employee will have a badge.
Dupes don't get the accounts banned, even if I even had one.

And this is the link he sent me.

If possible i'd like to take down this 'Guide' as well, seems to be used by scammers to boost their rep.

Evidently, and obviously, he has no reputable badges.

I assumed that it was a TF2 related scam, as 'Duped' is a term only in TF2, and his involvement in he SEA TF2 community.

Thanks for reviewing this report ^^

Thanks - this user is already banned/tagged - nothing more we can do to them.
Should you come across a user like this again upon checking them when you accept as friends, its best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
Due to the amount of offenses already listed on this users profile, we won't be listing any thing more.
Report will be archived for future reference.
