What happened? Description:

Roughly 1 week ago, I was trying to buy a butterfly emerald that was newly unboxed to pair with my butterfly sapphire. I contacted his friend as I saw his video on youtube, and then I proceeded to negotiate the price with his friend who said he was in charge of the negotiations. Their offer was, I pay a portion of the price in skins, and the rest in paypal. I obliged, offering a vulcan, karambit fade, and various other less expensive skins later and offering to make up the rest. At this point the accused had all my trust as usually in a trade, I should be the one gaining their trust and I am asking for them to send the items first. He asked me to send karambit fade to him because it was his commission of the deal and he wouldnt accept it until the final trade was to be conducted. Then we all know what happened, he accepted trade, unfriend and block, then so did his friend. Now the emerald is hypothetically on a trade website, and my karambit is in his account privated. He soon changed his profile and name. After sending his friend threats to report him and calling the police, he added my discord with his other steam account https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198353444312 but i dont care about that one. I would provide his discord chat history that shows he is now extorting me for me to get the item back but that is at your discretion to take it in as evidence or not.

Proof of identity could only be shown on steam website client because he blocked me and I couldnt screenshot right now, only screenshots from yesterday​

I also have a full chat log I had with the scammer on discord screenshoted on phone

this is him sharing the ID with me prooving he did add my discord, and I have a video of him originally promising to return my items but being afraid to sign any legal contracts
if you need me to supply the video, I can do it but not here cuz I dont think its a valid file type
also ive contacted the chinese police already considering I'm a minor and the substantial price of the scams, just making sure he doesnt sell them afterwards to innocent traders

I have worked out a deal, he claims this was just all a misunderstanding, however I was still required to give him a m4a1s printstream in exchange for my karambit to be back. Now im uncertain myself with his promises on discord of him no longer ghosting me

I still personally think benefiting from other unrightfully such as in this case should still get him a warning on steamrep. Your discretions mod
