    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198315946635

    Victim profile: 76561198210198037

    What happened? Description:
I was in a casual Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game and this random guy on my team claimed that he knew and had played with me. He asked if I wanted to play a competitive game with me and I agreed and we added each other. After adding each other, he wanted to ask if I was selling my knife. I said no, but he offered to overpay me for it and I agreed, but as long as I received the payment in skins. He said that he was going to give me the money by trading me his steam funds. He claimed that he had about $203, and he was offering $160 for my knife. I told him that sending steam funds through trades are impossible after reading and sending him this link(https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8912-WEYU-8454) which clearly states that,"Steam Wallet credit cannot be traded, moved, gifted or automatically added to accounts by other users. Never accept trades that offer Steam Wallet funds." He then sent me the trade offer for my knife with a message that says,"is offering you 160$ for your ★ Butterfly Knife | Night Field-Tested" I know that this is a scam because one, it's impossible, and two, that message is the message that he HAND TYPED. I begin to confront him about it and he continues to play dumb and ask what I was talking about.

    Provide Evidence:
The 2 pictures of the chat log consist of the offer being made as well as me confronting him about scamming and him playing dumb and pretending not to know what I was talking about. He also states that he has done it with his friends and that his friends told him about the trick to "send steam funds through a trade offer."
The "Scamming Trade Offer" shows the picture of the trade offer for my knife with his typed message that states, "is offering you 160$ for your ★ Butterfly Knife | Night Field-Tested"
The last picture is the scammer's profile.

Sorry I didn't upload the pictures one by one. I remade this post in hopes of my pictures being okay now, for this time I have uploaded the photos one by one.

Don't make another report - reply to the one you already have up - this just wastes time.
