    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [Other] Other game items

    Accused profile: 76561198332128777

    Victim profile: 76561198174320965

    What happened? Description:
I apologize for the accidentally submitted previous report. I hit "Submit" when attempting to upload images. The original content continues below:

My friend received the comment shown quoted by my friend in the evidence folder and shown in the screenshot as quoted by him before he deleted it, and promptly added and talked with the user in question ( ™Mr.Akbu™ ). After a small bit of research, I had found his Steam Rep showing his true identity. In response to a screenshot I had sent to my friend of the Steam Rep page, the scammer sent the guide detailed in the evidence section.

Quite obviously fake, I proceeded to send the link to the Steam Rep page to my friend instead and explain the situation fully, as well as sending the original document that had been edited and placed on his profile as a "Certification," as shown in the evidence files.

Not long after my friend confronted him about it, he gave up the ruse, as quoted by friend in a screenshot.

Even if this is not enough evidence to show he was scamming, it is plenty to show he was, in fact, impersonating a Valve employee.

    Provide Evidence:
    False guide sent by scammer

Thanks - this user is already banned/tagged - nothing more we can do to them.
Should you come across a user like this again upon checking them when you accept as friends, its best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
Due to the amount of offenses already listed on this users profile, we won't be listing any thing more.
Report will be archived for future reference.
Again you can always report the user to Valve
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
