    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198340560799

    Victim profile: 76561198253521087

    What happened? Description:
This is a wierd one, he wanted me to lend him a C.A.P.P.E.R, a Team Fortress 2 item worth about $5, when i wouldnt he started acting strange and telling me he was going to give me keys if i did, i dont know him in real life and we met in a casual Team Fortress 2 lobby only a few days ago, which made the situation more suspicous. i blocked him because he was acting suspicous, i re-added him to fill out a steamrep report to get the chat logs a day later and he send me a potential phising link to "webshark.com" and told me he would "f**k up my computer" i didnt actually get phished because i didnt click the link, so im not reporting him for actual phising, im reporting him for POTENTIAL manual phising. im reporting him on steamrep because he could potentially scam and phish newer traders. i believe that a caution tag would be appropriate. thank you for your time reading this report.

NOTES: I did say i wouldnt follow through with the report in the chat logs, but i changed my mind after he tried to manually phish me

After looking into Wireshark, i believe he either sent me a link to a fake version of wireshark (wireshark.com instead of wireshark.org) or threatened to use the real wireshark to hack my computer, i currently cant tell which one he was going for

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
