What happened? Description:

First, this person added me as a friend and i checked his profile first. of cource. and i see he is currently trade banned. he says that somebody bought 500 keys using his credit card and he refunded it. he says that is how he got trade banned. that was pretty wierd.. after that he says he gambles alot and that he wants to buy my skins using paypal. he then says i have to send first right away. ik this may not be a scam but just wait.he then asks me on steam if i have a ic and i say yes. hes says okay thanks. he calls me on steam and we talk for a couple secounds. i have no proof of waht he says to me but i have screenshots. he asks me if i want to sell my butterfly knife night ft. its worth 105 usd and he wants to pay 125 usd for my knife. of course that feels fishy but ok. after that he talks about how he got trade banned. i then hang up the call after saying that i didnt want to. but what i did not realize is that i gave him my ip adress and my steam account... he turned my wifi offline and says that he has turned my wifi off anf if i think that he scamms that he will do it again.i then blocked him when i switched over to my neighbors wifi (aka my friends wifi that i know). i was pretty scared at that point. i had no clue what to do because my wifi wouldnt turn on.i then asked my dad about it and he reset the fifi. he ddosed us at that point by keep turning it off but at the end we managed to fix it and he can no longer ddose us.


the way i know how he did this was he downloaded this application on his pc called wireshark. it is an application that when talking to someone on (skype steam discord ext) it shows off there ip adress. it shows off there wifi right when you click accept to the call or anything. i think this man should be trade banned because of how much he can do to people to make them give up there skins to others because of what he can do.​
