What happened? Description:

So originally this guy added me some months ago and all he wanted to do is MGE with me. I was like OK, played a bit with him, and then we didn't speak to each other for months.

He comes to me today, and starts talking about marketplace.tf, asks me if I know about it. It had been years since I last touched the trading community, so I did forget about it. Nevertheless, I remembered about it quickly.
He then talks about "depositing" your items into marketplace.tf, and how they pay you for depositing your items. Apparently they need items to put on display (yeah, right), and so they pay you. But there's this neat little exploit where you take out your items and you keep your money, how cool is that!

Anyway, his trick was that he used his own fake bot (76561198445433028) to send me a trade offer to deposit all of my items, most likely never returning them back. I caught on to this instantly, and started messing with him to keep the story going. I finally confronted him at the end when I started recording. He told me to log out and log back in again to get the system to send me a trade offer. I lied to him, to make him think I did that, and lo and behold a trade offer appears, even though I never logged out & logged in.

I feel that the logs themselves paint a better picture than my description can, so I'll keep it short. I also have a video of the final moments of tricking him to send the trade offer via the bot, which pretty much proves everything.

Only downside here is that everything is in Greek. I translated everything by hand and posted the translation below.​
