What happened? Description:

It was sometime around 10:45 last night on March 11th 2018 when I checked my notifications and saw that somebody by the name of Matthew and ITEM DATABASE http://steamcommunity.com/id/MatthewOfficial/

had made a comment on this picture that he has now deleted http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1307464518 . So it had said something like I have gotten a massive report from many players that you have been duplicating your unusual and strange items so we need to check if you really were via steam trade. I had responded with what? I then proceeded to send him a friend request and tell him that I have never duplicated items ever. He then responded with that if I don't comply or don't do this then I will be Trade Banned as well as Community Banned, so he then gave me a link to a page where it showed a bunch of other supposed steam Officials which had talked about what they do and what not, which had lead to the fact that I believed this was all true. then we proceeded to the trade which was done through a link he sent me to ITEM DATABASE'S trading room. When I put my items in then he said he also needed to check more items. then when we tried to do it again I got an error twice when trying to send them; he had told me if I ever used a thing called

and I replied with no and then proceeded to get an account signing in through steam. Next he said I needed to use my credit card to add 50$ to purchase a few items so the ITEM DATABASE would be able to fix the error which prevented me from sending the second trade through, it still managed to go through and send him those items too anyways. If I would've added 50$ and purchased those items as he said I would be able to get my items back, when really he probably would've taken all my stuff as well as the csgo items he wanted me to purchase. It was 12:00 by then and everyone was asleep except me so he then responded with what my credit card info was. At this point I felt like I was gonna be robbed of a lot of money if not all and all my items so I said something that made it seem like I was accusing him, that he is just scamming me, he then replied with good luck, and then he was going to ban me. I stopped him a few times and said "Matthew, please don't do this" which he replied then go get the credit card. I started talking to one of my friends about the situation and he said I was being scammed so then I replied with how I was stupid and did what he said to Matthew as well as how I've got hard evidence that he was scamming me. He ended it with "lol, do you really want me to ban you?" I said he can go right ahead if you're really going to. then I defriended him and blocked him. After that 3 hour conversation I went to Steam Support and sent in a dozen reports instead of one big one because I kept getting an error which probably comes from the reports sheer size which included what happened as well as the whole conversation. Matthew tried to scare me at around 2:30 am so maybe I could go on with trade again when he was playing a non steam game which titled Banning ID: *probably my ID* (can't remember). Sorry about the chat history, I wasn't sure that I would've had my friend Epsilon help me out on steam rep where I needed it, but I did send the whole chat history to steam support.​
