What happened? Description:

He added me because I was advertising that I was buying keys for paypal and trying to gain some cashrep. He seemed to be well respected in the community and the admins on TGP were friends with him. I sent him the money and told him it hadn't gone through yet because it was my first time sending money through paypal. He still had the knife which was OK because the money still said pending in my account. However, when it went through, he refused to give me the knife (which actually wasn't tradable yet due to the 7 day hold). I should have noticed the warning signs and a few confusing things he told me. Firstly, he said he wouldn't lose his cashrep over $50 (the price of the knife we agreed on) but he isn't even in the group and has no cashrep. Second, he has a low steam level and is always cashing out according to his name, but he keeps buying knives. Basically, after the money went through he stopped responding to my messages and wouldn't give me the knife. He was also banned from the TGP server that this occured on and he was reported by me for scamming on steam. I lost $51.75 ($50 was to him after the fee) and he has the knife (Flip knife case hardened) in his inventory. Also, right after I told him we would have to wait for the funds to be transfered he reported me to a TGP admin for trying to scam him, which I did not. He even likely created a fake invoice made to look like it was from me but it had the wrong amount on it. In the end, he was banned from TGP and it was suggested to me that I report him to SR for scamming me out of $50. Again, I should have noticed he was shady from the beggining but I didn't notice. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Also I'm sorry about the chat logs not being in the steam app but rather on the steampowered website, my pc did not save the chat in the app, if need be I can screenshot them on my mobile app where they are stored, just ask because it may take a while to screenshot that many times. Anything you need just ask and I'll get it if I haven it​
