    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198357766954

    Victim profile: 76561198342023726

    What happened? Description:
So this guy randomly added me on Steam, he had no steamrep ban, and seemed normal. He wanted to buy my Ak47 Fuel Injector using OPskins, I thought it was going to be some kind of fake OPskins bot scam, but it was not, he wanted my OPskins API key, which I learned that if someone has access to, can change the listing price of your listed items, then he can buy the skin for a penny. I know that you can purchase the item using the link i provided him with, because I used it in an incognito tab (while I was not logged into google or opskins) and it was fine and showed that I could buy it. He said that it didn't work before I had checked it. He wanted my API key and was trying to rush me by saying that i would regret not selling it to him in 15 hours because he would purchase the same skin from someone else on OPskins. Then he tried to get me to not post the report because he said that the report doesnt matter and that he isnt a scammer. I have seen on the OPskins subreddit stating that the API key gives permission to buying, selling, and changing price.

    Provide Evidence:

click | cs.money: What is it?
click | cs.money: Im not going to buy
blu_: picture of subreddit showing that api key gives access to you changing my listing price
click | cs.money: Why would i do that? I have no idea how to change price
click | cs.money: Add on snap so u can see my items
click | cs.money: I just cant withdraw them yet
blu_: the link that i gave you, on my side shows me able to chage the price.
    click | cs.money: Well
click | cs.money: Its ok to not trust a person
click | cs.money: Just take ak back and not sell it
click | cs.money: I can find another one to buy from
blu_: what do you think im doing

This is only part of the chat history because this attempted scam took place at night and resumed when I returned from school.

SteamRep does NOT accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are NOT scam attempts - They are phishing/hijacking attempts!!
