What happened? Description:

I've been trying to sell my Ice Baby Roshan on the steam market and had at least a dozen people contact me over the last few days with various offers and scenarios of how they can buy it from me without using the SCM. I know virtually nothing about trading, so I guess I'm perfectly gullible and this was the first one that didn't seem like a scam to me.

So Mikow contacted me and offered to buy it from me and after a while linked me to dota2lounge's MM list and it seemed legit after a bit of looking around. Anyway so I get in contact with the MM (Erren Mikasaa) and we chat and discuss the trade and the terms of it etc and I fork over my items. He/She confirms they've received them and Mikow says he's going to send me the money via paypal as discussed. I ask for a screenshot when he says its been sent and then he unfriends and blocks me as does the MM.

An expensive lesson unfortunately. Can't get the items back but hopefully can stop them scamming others. I didn't know about this site until afterwards unfortunately.​
