What happened? Description:

I was not scammed. However, I am reporting this guy as a scammer. He was impersonating a TF2 veteran to try to scam me with an account that was impersonating a bot for marketplace.tf. He was trying to guide me the whole time to set up a marketplace.tf account so that the "bot" could take my items and put them on the website so that we could verify the prices.
After he told me to check the prices of the items I had listed I was sent a trade offer by the account impersonating the bot. It did not have a message and only had my 3 items in the request. I declined it and lied that I accepted it. He realized I lied and sent it again, which I also declined. Then I said it would take a bit for the items to transfer over and he immediately unfriended me and possibly blocked me.

there have been plenty of scams involving middlemen to verify an item where they steam it, or different websites to trade on that take your info and and your items.
im wary of screensharing because you might lead me to view something that i dont want you to have access to, like account information and passwords or credit cards and the like
