    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198373189530

    Victim profile: 76561198103508487

    What happened? Description:
This impersonator added me wanting to trade for my unusual hat. Their profile bio claimed that they were an alt account of Thux, and I believed it at first. They offered an item that wasn't in their backpack, but in the real Thux's account. I said that I would accept their deal, but they delayed and told a story about how they got scammed. They wanted me to verify my item before they would trade. I insisted that I wouldn't click any links, and that they should send a trade offer, but they kept pushing me to verify my item. After this went on for a while, I investigated their profile more, and found that they have negative trust on backpack.tf. I was suspicious, so I wanted to find the main Thux account. After I found it, I read the bio and found that they don't use alt accounts so I blocked and reported the impersonator before anything else happened.

    Provide Evidence:

[IMG]This is Thux's real account, I highlighted the portion that declared that they have no alts, and they are being impersonated.
