What happened? Description:

Accused added me on steam and wanted to buy my knife. I checked his profile on steamrep and decided to accept him. Accused started talking to me and only told me that he wanted to buy my knife. He didn't even asked about the float or phase it was, so I assumed he already knew.

After talking about 5 minutes he asked my PayPal email without even hestitating (most people would be scared to send money to a stranged). So I thought he was a little bit fishy. 5 minutes later I received an email from "PayPal" (he sent it from his own mail, smh) saying that I have received money and that it would take up to 24h before I see it in my balance.

I already knew that he was trying to scam me so I ignored him and wrote an email to PayPal to report him for spoofing and scam attempt. While doing that he got impatient and was saying things like "I can get my money back" after he said that I just told him to wait. Then he was done waiting and said that he would leave and take his money back(which he obv didn't send). So I told him that I would contact PayPal first then he deleted me. RIP​
