    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198374206487

    Victim profile: 76561198174321695

    What happened? Description:
go5 was advertising an Anti-freeze Hottie's Hoodie on Vatican City last night (EST). He was advertising it as a quicksell in voice chat for 50 keys, stating that this was only 5 keys above the 45 key buy orders. I expressed interest, but was short on keys. go5 was willing to put the hat on hold for me for an hour so I could get more keys for the purchase. 15 minutes into this hour, go5 messaged me asking if I had the keys, saying "Somebody just gave me a very good offer." However, he said he was still willing to wait for me to get the keys if I got the keys quickly. When I was selling a hat I had for keys to buy go5's Anti-freeze Hottie's Hoodie, I was informed that go5's Anti-freeze Hotties Hoodie was duplicated. This was unacceptable, as go5 never mentioned that his hat was duplicated. go5 claimed that the buy orders for his hat were at 45 keys. This was true only for hats that are not duplicated (clean). Buy orders for duplicated hats were at 30. By claiming that buy orders were at 45 keys for his hat, go5 was implying that his hat was was clean. In addition to implying that his duplicated hat was clean, go5 attempted to rush me into the trade by pretending to get a better offer while he had the hat on hold for me. If go5 in fact received a better offer, he would have likely taken that offer, asked me to match that offer, or informed me of the details of that offer. go5 misrepresented his duped hat in TF2 as a clean hat and tried to hustle me into buying it.

SR doesn't get involved with pricing/value disputes regardless of what some "buy order" says something is or what some site says it is. You are free to ask and offer anything you want regardless of what someone else thinks.
If you do not like the offer then do not trade - simple.
