    What happened? Description:
    First of all my english is not that great, so sorry for all the butchering you're going to get trough.


    Guys says he want to buy my unusual. Then says his friend want to buy my csgo gloves. Send me a link to a trade offer that account that seems like this guy account : https://steamcommunity.com/id/nicesteamid.

    I make the offer, go to steam mobile authentification. Sees that the offer is without key. I ask him why, he says me that it's a bug, and the fool that i am believes him.

    I accept, and then the offer with the keys got cancelled and it says i proposed the offer to this guy :

    300 euros gloves lost, but a valuable lesson learned I guess. All the red flags and I still fell for it.

    I'm still confused by how this works tho.​

    Provide Evidence:
    Proof of the initial trade agreement : it's gone, we talked too much. scam.png is what's left of the chat. Log is the same.

    Proof of the broken agreement or scam attempt : on the sacm2.png (i'm so tired i mispelled), you see the trade I accepted.

    On scam3.png you see the trade I intented to do.

    Proof that you verified the identity of the person : scam 4 shows scammer profile : several +reps.

    Something is missing from the whole story, it seems that you fell for the phishing scam where instead of the legitimate Steam trade URL there's a phishing link, so if you enter your steam username and password plus the steam guard code the hijacker has control over your trade offers but can't confirm them because of your mobile authenticator which only you have.
