What happened? Description:

I was contacted by this user and they told me that they were an administrator for Valve and that the items in my inventory were duplicates and that if I did not trade them to a link of his (which lead to a trade bot) named Database: JHTY3 (https://steamcommunity.com/id/412412412412412412121241412412) that my account would be banned from Steam within 10 minutes. After asking questions and poking here and there I declined and was permanently blocked from making any further contact with him. I managed to grab screenshots of the cancelled trade that I withdrew myself from as well as our conversation leading up to this scam. I was contacted by them through a mutual friend who has yet to say anything on the subject, although I believe his account may have been hacked prior to our conversation. He has now removed any contact from me as of 2:00pm CST.​

Evidenced in the attached files are the screenshots of the user in question ('') and our conversation that went on around 10:30am-10:40am CST. Refer to the screenshots below for the canceled trade link with me and his trading bot (Database: JHTY3). Thank you for your time.​

Terribly sorry about that

All that I know is that his Steam name was BadProfessional with a picture of Sniper in his camper-van, he's blocked me from contacting him and I can't seem to locate his ID64 information at the moment. Once more I'm sorry about that news
