What happened? Description:

The scammer added me and wanted to trade with me. He told me he was a SteamRep administrator and gave me a "steamrep" link to his profile. First he wanted to trade with PayPal, but I refused. He said he can buy them from OPSkins if I deposit my items there. I was aware that he's a scammer, but I didn't notice anything suspicious about the OPSkins deposit. After depositing the items, he wanted me to go to a site to use his referral code so that he could get 5% off his purchase. This website required me to insert my Steam information with the "login process". This was most likely to get my Steam account information to steal my accounts and the skins in my inventory. I did not put my real information in, but it still said "confirmed" after putting a fake profile info with a fake mobile confirmation. He then stopped talking to me.

Luckily no items were lost due to my experience in trading. This is a clever scam though, and will definitely bait many inexperienced traders. Very dangerous, I'd say.​

(notice the SteamRep url, it has a couple of small dots in it, it's a different site. The login there doesn't work, my antivirus/protection says the site can try to steal my information)

Sorry, I do not have the chat log as I can't see it anywhere anymore, because I closed the chat screen. The screenshot is the most I have, along with other information. Therefore, to make this report, I have to attach a random file. My apologies, but I hope my other information is enough.
