What happened? Description:

This user "BlaZteD☮" attempted to trade scam me by first offering massive overpay for my M9 Lore + keys. He commented on one of my screenshots with his offer (A karambit black pearl). At first I was excited, thinking he was willing to overpay for my item for some reason or didn't know the value of his supposed karambit black pearl. I go to his account and almost immediately realize he's a scammer, and to anyone who has little to no experience, not a bad method of scamming either. Though, I trade all the time so I knew instantly. He links an inventory that isn't his AND a trade URL to the same inventory that has a bad float bad corner Karambit Phase 4, which in the item icon looks exactly the same as the black pearl that's in his actual inventory (even has the same name tag). Every item in his inventory except of course for the karambit matches perfectly, all the keys and skins, etc. So, as I always do, I metjm (instant field inspect in Google Chrome) the black pearl of course and it's true that his inventory has the actual black pearl but the link's he provided in his bio are not to the actual black pearl. So in my screenshots I asked HIM to send an offer, knowing he of course will not and he also wouldn't add me (then I could use the "offer a trade" option as a friend and send an offer for the real black pearl which he'd obviously decline).​
