    Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items
    Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198407856300

    Victim profile: 76561198343539217

    What happened? Description:
    He added me, a few days later messaged me, I asked him why he added me, he told me he added me to trade but said I was marked for having scammed items, I asked for evidence, he left for 20 mins, came back with a screenshot I see everytime a scammer tries this, told me he can send me a steam ticket to get my items checked, at which point I decided to end pretending and just have him remove me by acting like a furry.

    The last 3 screenshots provided were photos take of the chat because I am submitting this from my phone as it is easier to take screenshots this way.​

    Provide Evidence:
    I have had people try this scam before, but this is the first time I am reporting someone for it. He followed the usual course of this scam, telling me I have scammed items, that their friend got banned for having them, that I need to get my items checked or I will get banned, and that they are helping me because they are concerned about my account.​

    I also can't confirm identity to you and the accused - did you take a FULL screenshot of the users profile WHILE friends? If you didn't I'm going to have to give you some instructions to see if you can show that before we can review this.

    I did not take a screenshot while we were friends as I started the report after he already unfriended me.

    He did not, but I think he unfriended me because he realized I knew what he was doing.

    "Get away without any problems" users are innocent till proven guilty and you must verify identity to ensure you aren't reporting the wrong user. So follow below directions.

    Thanks - issue is I can't confirm you were ever friends with this exact user by SteamID - all I see is a chat box with a name and profile image. Need to verify this and you can do that with a screenshot of your friend/user activity thru a web browser - when you take this and it shows you adding the user hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows the popup of the profile. Make sure you open this in a web browser before doing anything rather than steam client. Take the screenshot and make sure it's Full Screen and make sure steam client URL is enabled, not edited or cropped in any way! Upload HERE…NOT imgur, NOT gyazo or any other 3rd party hosting site!

    Maybe - FULL screenshot - hover your mouse pointer over their name/profile image at the top of the box so it shows where the image goes to if that would work.
    Just need to verify the ID vs the name/image.

    Okay so, as a final thing, I looked up his historical data, and it seems like he impersonated frost for sometime in the past, I have no idea if that affects this in any way, just wanted to point it out.

    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
