    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198409015987

    Victim profile: 76561198308381876

    What happened? Description:
I was added by Swaggy, he asked if I was "selling" my knife. I was interested for the right price, so I agreed. He told me to get a price chart. He wanted me to use a site called "csgoinfo.net". I entered my profile link to find my inventory but it told me I must be signed in to do anything.

I clicked "sign in" and it brought me to the steam login API. I'm already logged in on steam, so instead of entering my username and password, I should just be able to click log in. These scams are becoming more and more common.

I confronted him about it, explaining how I'm not trusting it because I'm not logged in on that steam's API. He kept telling me it's not a scam because there's some sort of "agreement" I have to sign. I eventually told him how the log in on steam works and I get blocked.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
