    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198412280701

    Victim profile: 76561198088712387

    What happened? Description:
I put up a trade offer on csgolounge looking to trade up my fn m9 bayonet doppler for a fn karambit fade or doppler. I was approached by this guy suggesting a ST FN AK-47 Vulcan instead, who wasn't flagged on steamrep at the time and even though his account was new, he had no games and a small amount of friends, I figured I'd "bite" and catch him in the act if he's trying to scam me, and of course, he did.

    Provide Evidence:
#5 is the end of our chatlog, regretfully my PC rebooted halfway through to install a windows update and I don't have the beginning of the chat, which is why I added a screenshot of his original proposal on csgolounge - #1.

I sent him a trade offer - #2, as he did have a ST FN AK-47 Vulcan in his inventory, and as far as that went, all was legit. He refused the trade, going back on his original offer, and asked me to add my ST FN M4A1-S Guardian skin to the exchange and send him a new offer. I was careful enough to see that in the meantime he switched the ST FN AK-47 Vulcan for a ST Well Worn AK-47 Vulcan (#3 and #4) and called him out on it, at which point he went offline and removed me from friends.

Sorry for the duplicate screenshot submissions, the web upload ui wasn't listing them under the explanation box, so I drag&dropped them into the text body and they appeared :)

I did, for his ST FN AK-47 Vulcan, which he then switched out for a ST WW AK-47 Vulcan after refusing the trade, hoping that I won't notice and send him another offer including both the knife and m4a1-s, despite our initial agreement being the knife for the ak.

Ok you can't just report someone for scamming when you sent the offer - you are the one selecting items to put into the offer so we have no idea if the other item was ever in the users pack or not. No evidence at that time of the users whole pack vs what you are sending the offer for.
You should always have the other user send or resend an offer if changed.
