What happened? Description:

Logged into Trade server and advertised weapon. Talked to the guy for about 10 minutes through voice about it. He asked about keys instead of cash, and I said preferably but alas I agreed through cash. We went through the conversation and he was giving a reasonable amount for the knife. He said he'll tell me everything I needed to know. I gave him my email so he could get everything set-up. (Note: While everything was happening, he was calm about every situation, never hurried me or anything.) We got everything setup for the trade and I began to question him about if he had gotten through with trades like this and he told me he only needed 3 more for his cashrep to appear on steamrep.com. I told him about all these scams that were going around, and how I brought up a reputable middleman and he immediately started freaking out about that its a redflag for middlemen. He stated about never going with middleman unless going with rocket league. He started talking about the friends and family deal on paypal where you cant refund on scams like that. I believed him for the last second, and he said "sending" and said it will be there within 10 years, deleted me, blocked me. Afterwards I began to talk to some of the people on his friends list and none of them were irl friends of his.​
