What happened? Description:

User by the name of "M4X - 加我" friended me. I immediately checked his profile, nothing unusual had been reported.

He said he wanted to buy my Flaming hat from TF2, first on marketplace tf, however once I said no he went through with a trade on steam.

I knew something was fishy, so I accepted to trade with him. He wanted me to send an offer to a friend so he could copy info about my friend that I was going to trade with, in order to verify I didn't have trade hold which was his excuse in order for me to trade

I sent my friend a trade offer where he would give me something, so I would know that if I didn't receive anything it was a quickswitch scam.

That is exactly what happened. Thankfully, I didn't place my unusual in the offer and just a scrap metal instead.

The pictures show the fake profiles and the real profiles of my friends that I was supposedly sending it to, as well as the chat log and the scammers profile.​

Provide Evidence:

Once again, there is the chat log and the two trades

The first offer was auto cancelled

The second offer was accepted, except M4X - 加我 was the person behind the fake profile for atslughorn so he would recieve the item and I would recieve nothing.

I had then established it was a quickswitch scam that he had done and tried to obtain my unusual using it, doing so unsuccessfully.
