    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198829768314

    Victim profile: 76561198075710622

    What happened? Description:
Well I got another invitations from a steam user that wanted to trade a item for my 2 knifes. He provides information about a specific knife (More of that in the chat picture attached) that he wish to trade for my 2 knifes. Furthermore he says he got the knife on a second account, and wants me to tell him a SSID as an extra information for my knifes. (As this is not provided by Valve, its not something that is official from Valve itself, and therefore not necessary information). He provides then sites of some sort of third party market, which I can check it on.

To add to the above, he added my from both of the accounts, but non of them had a m4 bajonet knife in their inventory (picture attached). After I exposed the scam, he removed me from both accounts, so this clarifies the situation that he did not wish to speak to me further, as he knew that he had something on his conscience.

    Extra note:
I accept these friend requests on my own will to expose these scammers, I am not easy to fool, so therefore I do it to report them here, so others wont get fooled, and make the community more clean of these fraudulent actions.

First off the other account mentioned was just that - it doesn't seem to be involved in anyway.
This is a phishing attempt also if you took the time to check the links out you would see it prompts a fake steam login.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

You can report the user to Valve instead
