    What happened? Description:
    User contacted me on a trading discord server (Trade Central) which has around 80,000 members. User agreed to pay me by bitcoin, he sent “proof” (which was fake, you can check the blockchain for his transaction, which I included in pictures). I told him I could not see the transaction. We then got a staff member from Trade Central involved (Alex, discord ✨✪Major⚡#1031) who also confirmed he couldn’t see the transaction. This was all done in a discord group chat. He then removed Alex & added back an identical account (impersonating Alex), I did not see that he had done this. The scammer then used the fake discord account to say he saw it on the blockchain & that the transaction was not reversible.

    After I sent the knife, I messaged Alex & realised what had happened.

    The scammer removed me from the group chat so I don’t have much proof.

    But I still have the screenshots of me sending him my wallet address & him sending me a fake screenshot showing transaction details. The user has been found guilty & has been banned from TradeCentral.

    He also blocked me on steam & discord, which also furthers the point that he is guilty.

    He has also been banned on steam rep which I wish I checked before trading​

    I put his name & steam link in the victim tab, it was meant to go in the Accused

    Sorry you have zero acceptable evidence of any scam here - nothing thru discord is acceptable only steam chat screenshots.
    You are reporting a STEAM user not a Discord user. Also your evidence is too cropped to review!

    Lastly this user has been banned/tagged here for almost 3 years - there is nothing more we can do to them! You need to check out users better before adding them as friends and dealing with them in the future!
