What happened? Description:

He had a Store mention on r/GlobalOffensiveTrade and I added and msged him on the M4A4 ST Asiimov he had. I was offering my Stiletto Tiger Tooth ST and he asked me to get the current market details. To me, that sounded weird like he couldn't already find out himself for a somewhat common knife. After I go ahead and link the csgo.steamanalyst page of the knife he says that it was wrong and he linked two different sites of which had some of the same user interface and required a steam login. Obviously, it was an attempt at taking my account information and or stealing my items. I never logged onto the sites and took a screenshot of the page I used earlier and sent him the details. I then told him I would not use a shady site like that and that he should be fine with using a well-known/trusted resource that steam analyst is. Immediately following he unfriended me and blocked me. After looking at the trade link in the reddit, I have found out that the original poster of the [Store] was not the scammer. This was after I clicked the trade link again to be able to see the owner's inventory to realize that I was not blocked. In fact, I had added the original with a friend request but later received a friend request from the imposter. It did not quite make sense until now since if it were the original, I wouldn't have had to accept the friend request.​

Provide Evidence:

PNG's labeled part 1-3 are the exact chat logs. Following the chat logs in part 4 is the scammer's actual account. The reddit post is the listing I found myself, the original poster is not accredited to the scammer. I believe the scammer added me after seeing my msg on the OP's profile. I also listed the OP's profile to show that he had not yet added me back so the chat parts 1-3 cannot be him and is in fact the scammer impersonating him.
