    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198880580008

    Victim profile: 76561198192179174

    What happened? Description:
This person sent me a message when I was playing a game. I responded and got immediately suspicious of them. When I checked their profile I realized that this was a scam. They sent me a link to a backpack.tf profile of the person they were impersonating, then they told me to go to mannco.store . They showed me how to deposit items and then they told me to deposit a key. But once I pressed send trade, they said that I forgot to add the unusual. They told me to add the unusual but to not press send trade again. Instead, they said that I should refresh the page. I told them that I had done everything as they said. I got a second trade offer from a mannco.store "bot". This was obviously the scammer trying to trick me to trade my items. They are waiting for me to accept the offer as I'm writing this.

    Provide Evidence:
    I have uploaded:
    1. The screenshots of the entire chat (This is how it started) View attachment 809557
    2. The screenshot of the trade offer from the fake bot View attachment 809566
    3. The screenshot of their profile which I accessed from the chat View attachment 809567

Thanks - this user is already banned/tagged - nothing more we can do to them.
Should you come across a user like this again upon checking them when you accept as friends, its best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
Due to the amount of offenses already listed on this users profile, we won't be listing any thing more.
Report will be archived for future reference.
Again you can always report the user to Valve
