What happened? Description:

I was added this morning out of nowhere, was curious about it so i said "Hello?"

Turns out it was some person asking for tf2 crates, apparently for an unboxing, i have many crates so i thought "Yeah, why not, have as many as you like"

Before accepting the trade i asked how was it that this person came to finding me and adding me, they told me they were looking around their friends of friends so i made a little joke.

When i was accepting the trade i took a moment to look at the price and items of what the person was asking for as a gift, as not to get scammed, i saw that the "Ammunition Crate #83" was a little pricey for a crate but i thought "Hey, this person doesn't have much items, might as well give them this" because i like to help other players with what little i have, it's nice to keep the community friendly.

A little moment later i realized this was more suspicious than i thought, and it downed on me that i just got scammed, i was thinking about giving something nice to a person with little games and few items while they could be very well just looking for that exact crate for profit.

I was truly heartbroken so i started asking the person if that was the real reason they were doing that, no response at all.

I really thought i was just helping someone with a nice little expensive crate. Shame, i don't think i was the first one who this person did this to.​
