What happened? Description:

I added the suspect with the intention of selling my skins for a PayPal transfer. We negotiated a price on stream and the he asked me to move over to discord to discuss the rest (I now assume that's because i cant use our chat as valid evidence). I asked him to send me 0.03GBP as confirmation he had the right account details. He did this and on sending it I looked up his PayPal name on google just as a precaution. On doing this i found 2 different reports for different cases of attempted PayPal scam.

The fact the same PayPal account had been involved in 2 other scams and is now in use by this person was enough to me to signal he was trying to scam me. So i went back and started to screenshot everything and even confronted him about it. On letting him know that 2 other scammers have the same PayPal info as him (account name and email address tied to the account) he secretly changed both of these details and asked me to check them again. This again proved to me that hes trying to cover up his tracks now.

After i told him i will be filing a report with steamrep he laughed at me and said good luck and to check steamrep guidelines as wee haven't done a steam trade window and we've been talking on discord the whole time. (He obviously knew these and how to avoid a report in the case of one)

I know you do not accept discord as evidence and im aware it will most likely be made void, but if not used as evidence use it as context please, this scammer i encountered was scummy and very cocky about what he did.

The last couple of screenshots show a forum post on backpack.tf where 2 accounts (that use the same PayPal as my guy) have been banned for PayPal scamming. I will also provide a link to that forum post here https://backpack.tf/issue/6091f1fdbfa7877f0555eb59 .

The very last screenshot is from my PayPal which shows that he has changed his associated email address to try and cover up.

Again i know you don't use discord screenshots but even overlooking that you can see that this account is associated with 2 other PayPal scam accounts and is likely just another alternate account of the same person. Thankyou for taking time to review this case.​
