What happened? Description:

During March 2020, a person from a community I moderate contacted me asking if they could check out my item "Strange Candy Cranium". They returned this item a few minutes later with another offer asking for my "The Hero's Tail" to try it out on their "scout loadout". They then a few minutes later claimed that the item "disappeared" and that they couldn't return it until a later date. (It was gone from the inventory, and I did not get it back.)

Earlier today, 30th April 2020, they sent me a similar offer asking to see how my "The El Jefe" looks on their "scout loadout". I declined it this time. I said that they was the same person but with a different name and profile picture. I showed proof of our previous trades and that they changed theirname recently rather than "9 months ago" with the use a steam name history website to see when exactly it was changed.

After being busted, they admitted that they were trying to get back into trading by scamming people's items, with some sort of method they found on YouTube. During the rest of the chat I proved that they were the same person on Discord as I was looking for on Steam, which I'm aware isn't relevant for this.​

I can't help that it was cropped, I was not planning to report them at the time so I suppose it's not evidence, but I have included it since it's somewhat relevant. It is the same person though which can be checked with some steam name history websites.

^^ This is the screenshot of the previous trades from March 2020 which were scams, and I accepted. I have a CSGOFloat chrome extension which can apparently prove that a trade happened? I'm not sure if you can do something with those numbers but I have included it anyways.​
