    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198978126431

    Victim profile: 76561198141279229

    What happened? Description:
Tells you to go on BitSkins a perform an action that causes the website to give you an error (such as "can't withdraw right now, you must wait an hour"). He then tells you that this isn't normal and that support should be contacting you, "he's been through this himself". He sends you a friend request from a steam account that impersonates BitSkins support and from that account he tells you that you need to deposit $150 into BitSkins ("he'll later refund you"), buy this specific RUST item that costs $150, and trade it over to his account, this is all to verify that you are legit and not trying to launder money. He says he can't refund $150 because you didn't connect a credit card, so add another $350 and buy items again and send it over again. Now he says that he can't refund $500 because he can only do $250, $1000, or $1500, so you add another $500, buy items, send them over. Now he says that because of fees he also needs to refund the fees and tax, he owes you $1032 so you need to add another $500 so he can refund that. I didn't fall for that last one, but I'm down $1,000. During all this time he's in Discord with you telling you that this is normal and that he's been through this himself.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
