What happened? Description:

Somebody commented on my youtube videos/steam screenshots asking me to get in touch with him for something. So I obliged.

I have a few "low-cost" skins with extremely expensive stickers, so I do sometimes get legitimate trade offers. He wanted to trade a "Sand-dune" for my SSG with a 2014 Katowice Sticker. The sticker itself costs several thousand dollars, but the actual price has significantly decreased as a result of the sticker application. Regardless, the skin with the sticker is nowhere near 4 cents anymore.

Out of curiosity, I asked him why not just get it on the steam market (As you don't go through the hassle of adding somebody, commenting on all their profiles, just to save a few cents) and he just goes "Selling fee".

Clearly believed that I didn't know the true value of the skin and wanted to scam me out of it. I have had countless attempted scams like this but going through all my social media and trying to get in touch with me was quite disconcerting.​
