    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198981713063

    Victim profile: 76561198161257256

    What happened? Description:
They messaged me with a variation of the whole "Your account is labeled as a scammer/fraudulent item holder, do you know about this?" This included a doctored screenshot of my steam profile with a big red label that says "scammer/fraudulent item holder"

Sadly, this user isn't a bot. I played TF2 with them awhile back when they were really new and even gave them some items.

I responded to him calling him out on the scam attempt and he immediately unfriended me. Unsure if he blocked me, I don't know if there's a way to tell. I cannot comment on his profile now though.

Admittedly, I should have gone along with it to get more evidence, but I've gotten these scams before and they almost always have the scammer say something like "let my steam admin friend help you" and then you're supposed to send your profile information like username and password to the "steam friend."

    Provide Evidence:
Screenshot one is the chat window where he made the attempt.

Screenshot two is the window and his profile. I'm not sure if this adequately shows it was 100% him who sent it, but I'm not sure how else to show it.
