    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561199021089588

    Victim profile: 76561198950005118

    What happened? Description:
A "hijacked" account asked to buy an unusual Kill-o-watt Respectless Robo Glove, and I didn't check his account very well, as it was TRADE BANNED. Anyways, he tried to steal a trade probably to his main account through the website by telling me to send a cheap item through the bot to make sure it was safe(the bot is what I'm reporting) and sent it back. Then I sent the unusual since it was "safe" and THATS when i checked the backpack.tf account and it was not the real trader. alas, it was too late and my unusual is sitting in the belly of that bot right now. I know the unusual is now lost to time, but I wish it that the bitskins thingy has to go through the trouble of making another uncool bot and this one is decomissioned.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/
You also reported the wrong user anyway - but soon as there is anything to do with hijacking it does not matter.
This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
