    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199037218462

    Victim profile: 76561198119119259

    What happened? Description:
I contacted the user as I was interested in his AUG Akihabara Accept that I saw on Reddit, he responded very quickly. He asked me what I was looking to trade and I told him to take a peek through my inventory. He showed interest in my bayonet fade and asked for the details of the item. He recommended I use the same site he uses. I instead used swapgg as it is reputable and I have not heard of the other site. He was not satisfied with my picture and instead insisted on me using his site. I sent him an alternative picture from csgo database but he was still not satisfied. He told me that the website was a new rendition of an old site called csgozone. Upon inspecting his site (https://cstradeshop.com/) I discovered that the steam login button prompts a fake login popup. I called him out on this and was instantly blocked. During the process of making this report the user has changed his profile name and picture.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
