What happened? Description:

So, this person added me out of the blue. The profile looked fishy, but i accepted anyways, i know how to be careful. A few days after adding them, this person messages me asking me for help. The moment that happened i knew i was facing some entertainment. Knowing this person would probably try to scam me or gain access to my account in some way, i decided to play dumb and follow the talk. They said they needed help, they were part of a tournament and needed people to vote for their team so they make it in and participate. They sent a twitch stream that had 1K followers and a good amount of live viewers, but were probably bots, and a following page called PlayXTour. I decided to search the name alone without entering. Soon on a few steam discussions i saw people making others aware about the scam of this site. They asked you to vote in exchange of a free skin, and to vote they needed you to log in using your steam credentials. On the few talks i found online, some people claimed to lose items that were trade to many different accounts. So yes, it is a scam. I played dumb, even sent a few screenshots of me actually getting loot from the scam, and a few grabify links to lure the scammer into revealing an address so i could report them properly. It didn't seem to work tho, and after a day i just stopped answering and deleted them from my friend list. I got messages again, and while trying to search for their page, i noticed the domain didn't work. After the grabify thing i did file a report against the domain hoster, Namesilo, and an extra service they got to cover any real names, privacyguardian. Seems like one of the things i did worked, or they are being careful with what they do next. Anyways, if i have any more info i'll report it here. Cheers​
