    Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items

    What happened? Description:
    The Suspected scammer, at the time with the name "chysce" tried to offer up a strange FESTIVIZED scattergun, in return for an unusual hat of mine worth 9 keys as well as some additional keys. Festivized scatterguns are hardly worth any more than regular strange scatterguns. This scam method is quite common because on sites like backpack.tf, it views the price of strange festivized scatterguns as the price of the original strange festive scatterguns, even though they are completely different items.

    This user tried to misrepresent his items in the trade in order to swindle me out of a good chunk of change, even going so far as to show the fake price and calculations in the trade message.

    I would also like to note that his profile says he has had over 1000 hours of recent activity in the last two weeks. I am not sure if this means anything, but thought I should bring it up as it is impossible to have those numbers without modding.​

    Take those screenshots again - this time enable your steam client URL.
    Take one more opening to show the offer in a web browser, hover your mouse pointer over users name so it shows up their steam ID at the bottom.
