    What happened? Description:
    I post on regularly on csgo trade forums. The accused friended me and started to chat, saying they had a valuable stickered gun they wanted to trade to me (2 x 2014 non-holo katowice stickers). I asked the accused for a screenshot of what csmoney gives for the weapon, which they provided in steam chat. I was confident the accused doctored the photo to increase the amounts csmoney gives for the skin, because csmoney was selling several skins with better stickers for half the price shown in their screenshot. When I asked the accused to provide further screenshots showing what csmoney gives for each sticker, they attempted to end the conversation.​

    Provide Evidence:
    I was ignoring the messages from the accused as they were asking too much overpay, until they provided a doctored csmoney screenshot. The amount it showed that csmoney would pay in trade-in value for his skin was outrageous ($197.12), considering similar crafts with (4 x 2014 katos instead of 2) were going for literally less than half of that on csmoney ($82.99).

    I tried to get the accused to provide further doctored screenshots showing how much csmoney paid for each applied sticker, but they probably realized they were busted and didn't want to fake the math so they said they were going to trade it to someone else.

    The doctored photo is a clear attempt to scam and defraud, and a less experienced trader may fall victim to this tactic.​

    Need proof the screenshots the user is giving you is doctored/fake as you put it.
    This isn't something we can prove for you or help you prove since that would give others that may see this report a way to circumvent our methods so this burden of proof is upon you to prove to us that the images they sent are indeed fake.
    The values that something is then vs now or at that time are not something we can verify against now or then even if they widely differ.
    So please provide proof against your claim the user sent you doctored/edited screenshots.

    Yep that tends to be a helpful thing.
    Just so you know without that unless you were able to prove the image was edited/fake we were at a stand still as that is what you were reporting.
    Values change and we have no way to verify what a site may or may not say be it their own issues/glitching/incorrect numbers etc so for the user providing the image they could have very well been right and it has happened.
    I'll review this again soon - no need to reply again.
