    What happened? Description:
I got a notice that a comment was on one of my screenshots here:
    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1953621822&tscn=1622479219

So I thought it would be something sketchy, but decided 'what the hell'. Below is the convo.

    Mikeyyy:
well, i posted an item worth $603 on market and you have the same profile as the buyer and i didnt received money from him and i accidentally massive report your account for doing illegal purchase on me instead of someone else and I even paid a group to massively report your account >_< I am worried that it will lead to any problems or any possible suspensions

    [12:30 PM]
    Ham the Terrible:
    it won't

    [12:31 PM]
    Mikeyyy:
gladly I got this notice so i thought I really needed to reach out and give you a heads up, so that we could avoid the possible suspension, i feel terrible for reporting the wrong guy that didnt do any harm to me, thats why i am telling you this cause it would be my responsibility if those reports will go through and lead to permanent suspensions.

    [12:32 PM]
    Mikeyyy:
    what do you mean?
    why
did you read the message that i got from steam?

    [12:33 PM]
    Ham the Terrible:
i would have heard about it by now if i was being looked at.

    [12:33 PM]
    Mikeyyy:
steam support suggests that i need to inform you and we need to resolve it with the steam mod named Solo https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/moderators or it would be best to add him on Discord named Solo#7830, if theres any chance you have discord?

    [12:34 PM]
    Ham the Terrible:
    nah. I'm fine

    [12:35 PM]
    Mikeyyy:
    okay
if you feel okay about it
    im not forcing you man
    cya

    Provide Evidence:
Everything is listed in "What happened? Description" I'm a bit doubtful that anything will be done as I didn't fall victim to the scam.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
These are almost always done by hijacked accounts - don't report this situation here report it to Valve.
Same applies with threats towards you or any other account that goes to Valve.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
