    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561199112503929

    Victim profile: 76561198371431022

    What happened? Description:
This is a report for an attempted scam/promotion of a scam. The victim (me) has not lost any items.

Accused added me randomly (as far as I can tell we share no games in common, I don't even play TF2). They approached me asking to "cooperate" with me on something. I press for more information and they said they would like me to promote a website and I would get paid in TF2 items. They provide a URL and it's a website I have never heard of. I try to press for more information and they seem to try avoiding my questions.

As of the time of writing, this is the extent of my conversation with the accused.

    Provide Evidence:
This is my first interaction with the accused

Now I would like to prove that "tf2humanity" is indeed a scam website.

The domain was registered yesterday https://who.is/whois/tf2humanity.com
I believe this is a hug red flag for any kind of website, but especially since it's a gambling website.

The website uses graphical designs of a different name.
If you visit the website, you'll see a design for "TF2 Routlette"
A quick Google search for this name brings up multiple pages showing scam websites with identical branding and have similar layouts.
    eg. https://www.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/p4q976/tf2_roulette_scam/

The accused is incredibly evasive and vague when it comes to questions about the website. If they were really trying to strike a deal with me, it's inconceivable that they wouldn't be more upfront with me.

I have a screenshot that has more conversation with the accused, but I am having issues uploading it so I will try to attach it to another post.

Sorry, it seems like I accidentally uploaded some images multiple times. On my end it looked like I had only uploaded 3 images.

    Sorry for the multiple replies

This is further conversation I had with the accused. Now they claim to make me a "winner on the site once a week" which is incredibly dubious to me.

The accused is still friended with me as of the time of writing and I plan to remove them once the matter has been resolved.
