    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [None] No items

    Accused profile: 76561199133973089

    Victim profile: 76561198427340053

    What happened? Description:
The guy commented on one of my steam screenshots to add it because he had something very important to tell me.

After adding it, he wrote to tell me that he had accidentally reported my steam account and should contact a steam administrator so that I would not get banned. He also said that he had supposedly lost a lot of money because he was scammed and was "sad".

As additional. The guy asked me to add the steam manager by steam or discord. The steam account is real. What he wants is to impersonate him by discord and rip me off.

As an additional I must say that the account of the supposed admin does seem real. but he wants me to add it as discord to impersonate him.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
Typical very typical of all hijacked accounts - so report them to Valve instead, we don't even take reports of threatening manor.

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
