What happened? Description:

I got a call saying that someone impersonated me and started a financial fraud. Steam chat. The attached file steam cheat has its contents. I got a message asking me to contact Mike, who works on Skype for clarification.​

He replied that I had 128 cumulative reports. He locked his account and changed his email. After that, he said that he would have to buy a Steam wallet worth almost 10,766 $ to recover his suspended account. I can't believe this. It is doubtful that Mike chatting is even an employee of the Steam Help Center.

This is a popular mediator impersonation scam these days.Assuming it was reported incorrectly, you connect to an external chat program that needs to speak to a moderator.Otherwise there is a threat that your account will be suspended.

I was scammed for about 550 dollars.​
