What happened? Description:

I was caught in a middleman scammed and got scammed of my knife. There were 2 people involved. The middleman, https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198980179704 Choxy, and the Buyer, who was the person i am currently reporting. I was contacted on reddit that he was interested in buying my knife, and later, when my knife was tradable, asked for a middleman as he was not feeling secure about the trade. Therefore, we got a middleman, off a shady reddit site called https://www.reddit.com/r/Redditsteamexchange/wiki/index, which is where the middleman suggested came from. After some back and forth, I traded my knife to the middleman, and some other skins, and then suddenly the Buyer was kicked, and I was told that the buyer was trolling me. He (The middleman) Told me to contact him a week later, about getting the knife. I contacted him today(19/12/2021) about the situation, and he is yet to respond. I also noticed that on my steam activity, The middleman and the buyer seems to be trying to do this to a lot of other people and has been doing it since from probably about 12 October 2021. And seems also to be doing it with this person named Jigen

There are also photos of my steam trade history, as well as the current inventory of the middleman. As of 12:36am NZT, 19/12/2021, they haven't replied to any messages that I send them.​

Ok, here are the photos in non-zip format.

I traded to that guy, https://steamcommunity.com/id/ChooxxxyMM my knife, and 2 skins. The skins are Falchion Knife Bright Water, M4a1s decimator Battle scarred, and an Ak slate Battle scarred.
I was promised 104 usd from the "Buyer", and then when i traded the items to the Middle Man, they Basically cut me off.
As for the method, I was contacted on reddit as the "Buyer" wanted to buy my knife for 91 usd at first, and then we waited for my knife to become tradable. When my knife was tradable, We talked a bit and the "Buyer" Suggested that we get a middleman so that the trade is safe, and that I wouldn't get scammed. He sent me to a reddit called https://www.reddit.com/r/Redditsteamexchange/wiki/index and suggested that we use a middleman from there. I didn't know then, and I failed to notice the several signs that that was a scam, which is one of the main reasons why i lost my knife. There are 4 people suggested on that website as middlemen. The buyer told me to use Choxxy, as the middleman, and that was the person he was cooperating with. After we selected that person, it was explained to me what a middleman was by Choxxy. Then he proceeded to ask for my items, and asked for the "Buyer"'s money to transfer to me. However, after I transferred the items, he kicked the "Buyer" from the steam chat, and Dm'd me that he thought that the buyer was trolling me, and that I would get my items back when my items are tradable. The confirmation that this was a scam was that CHoxxy, and the "Buyer", KNZCSGO, were constantly friending and unfriending in the activity section of steam, although CHoxxy told me that the Buyer was trolling me. They seem to be doing the same thing to other people, but the contact method may differ.

Oh, I just realised that some photos didn't get posted, here are some more.

Oh, sorry, The payment method was supposed to be bank transfer. Also, there is some new information. The middleman, Chox, responded to me after a while, asking to pay him in Tf2 keys now, as the middleman fee, and then he will trade me back my items when they are tradable, which I think is him trying to get more money out of me.

That bank info, was my back account that I was hopefully going to get the money transferred to, but that never happened. I don't completely understand the question that you have asked me, can you please clarify what you mean by verifying against my account? Which account, account my account on what happened, or my actual account, like steam account?
