    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199320539368

    Victim profile: 76561198446494813

    What happened? Description:
I clicked on a phishing link by mistake, logged in with steam, and a malicious user(s) was able to get into my account.

They used the access they had to add 2 steam accounts as friends. One was a fake community agent bot that was setup in a way so that when it messaged me it looked like an alert rather than a message from another friendly user. It tricked me into thinking I was community banned and that I could transfer my items to a trusted account to save them. I tried to send a trade offer to my father's account. Since I didn't know they were in my account, I sent a trade offer to my father's account and they were able to cancel it and replace it with a different one that sent most of my inventory to the account I'm reporting here. This all happened as I was getting my phone out to confirm the trade in the mobile app. The community agent steam account already has a community ban, but not a trade ban according to steamrep (steam id for said account is 76561199432640197).

    Provide Evidence:
I have provided a full window screenshot of the message that was sent from the fake community agent account as well as a screenshot that I took at the time of the message (2 screenshots of the same thing, one is full window). I have an additional screenshot of the message at the time of receiving it in steam while in-game (image.png)

Also provided a full window screenshot of my most recent trade (that was the scam) that contains other trade history in the screenshot but is not related to the scam.

I also provided a full window screenshot of clicking the scammers profile in my trade history that takes them to the account.

I also provided a full window screenshot of clicking the scammers profile in my trade history that takes them to the account and to their inventory (which has all the items sent from the trade)

I also provided a screenshot of the other account in question (fake community agent) ban status (fake_bot_ban_status). NOTE the account being reported is the account that currently posseses the stolen items. This account I'm referring to was also part of the scam.

Note, the account being reported in this case report does not posses my stolen items. They were part of the scam to send them to a 2nd account mentioned.

To clarify, I know steamrep doesn't deal with phishing or API scams, but I have logs of chat messages this account sent as part of the scam that should be proof enough.
