    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199371846747

    Victim profile: 76561199203234937

    What happened? Description:
A person identifying as Jenni Salmi from Steam Support. She was saying my account got is under investigation for fraudulent activity. At first I thought it wasn't much, when I realized my Steam account was compromised. My name was changed to a bunch of numbers, my profile picture removed, the comments on my profile deleted, and there was a text in the summary box saying the account is flagged for fraudulent activity. The words "ACCOUNT WARNING" were linked to a Steam Support site about account restriction policy. It didn't occur to me at first, but obviously the person trying to scam me has my account details, and has entered my account to make these changes. The account approached me with a Steam Support alibi in the Steam Chat, saying my account will be blocked unless I complete the steps they gave me. I will put the full chat log in the evidence section.

Also, as you can see in the screenshot named "8", there's proof of the knife being bought and traded through Skinport.

NOTE: This is the link of the "Assistant #37" account, the one I spoke with on Steam.

Would be INVALID regardless as this is almost always being done by a hijacked account.
Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
