    What happened? Description:
    1. I got a comment on my profile from the user:

    who said that i was called out in the group

    for scamming people.
    2. I went to the group and search for the discussion where i was called out and wrote a comment that i havent traded with people since two years and that i would prefer to solve the matter. the inital discussion was removed. the user that called me out

    3. The owner of the group

    tried to add me as a friend and i accepted.
    4. we started to write. He asked me if i was a trader and if i have ever traded with the person that called me out

    . I answerd to these questions all no.
    5. He than send me a link to a guide to check if my account was used to scamm people and to find out if my items where scammed

    6. I told him I had an API key since i am a software developer and that i tried a few things. and that i checkd my history and that their where none trades done with the other user.
    7. told me to do it as the guide told too do. Added the bot and wrote him to check my items.
    8. First check done and nothing came out.
    9. The Scammer told me to check all my items and i did so. It said it while take 40mins to check. I added the bot

    10. after sending the offer my steam begann to appear bugged. I couldnot enter my profil page, friend page, tradepage or main page only my game libary.
    11. After the 40 mins no answer from the bot decided to restart steam. I realized that i got blocked by the user:

    and i knew now that i got scammed and my hole cs and dota inv was gone.

    here they describe how they hack through an API key and so on, take a look and see if you have had something similar

    hi, after reading through the aritkel i saw that i had an api key, but i generated once one bc i am a softwaredeveloper and tryed a few things. i also checked through my history and their wasnt any trades with people exapted skinport which is a site for selling and buying skins i also never accepted so far more friend reqeusts and ignored them generaly

    since you haven’t done this before, first check 1-2 of any items to see how everything works

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
    This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
