    What happened? Description:
    So this is a pretty elaborate scam. I believe it was from a fake "Monesy" youtube (there were multiple after some research) . In essence there was a link in the youtube live discussing a knife give away. Unfortunately I clicked the link and signed in via steam. About 2 days later all the friends on my steam account are blocked and I get a random message from someone claiming to be steam support ( see attached images). I also got an email in my personal email from these people. They were saying that one of my skins had been "stolen" and that I would have to return it immediately to save my account from being banned. This is a very elaborte scam that I can only imagine how many victims there are. A part of me believed it myself, until a simple google of "will steam support ever message you directly via steam chat". If you need more information or have any other questions please let me know.​

    Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!
    This was clearly noted to you BEFORE You sent to submit the report - please do not ignore our policies/notifications that are there to read before submission.

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

    The fact the user is community banned already by Valve or has been a while plus there is no evidence what so ever the user ever used that username since the screenshots show a * which means you gave them that nickname doesn't prove anything that the user was even involved with you in anyway. Valve will handle them from here on out.
