Well a fun fact, this Guy here : http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198057685168/ Added a person in one of my open trades and tried to pass as me to get a team captain. Here you can see the picture that the trader that sold me the team captain has taken. I really dont know if this is valid report and if it is not, i am sorry for wasting your time.
He wasnt impersonating anyone. What I see from the chat is that he was trying to buy the hat off of you from the price you offered. Basically he accepted the offer you made on someone else's trade.
Well i dont understand what you mean with that, the trade was my own and i didnt have done any offer in nobody trade. he added the "tedrock" (the person who sold me the Team Captain) and when "tedrock" asked if he was me, the "Izuldur" told yes he was me as you can see in the pic, because Izuldur wanted to buy the Team Captain from "tedrock" passing as me using my own trade post to do that. But its cool, i respect your opinion, and if the Admins see that this is NOT an attemp of scam, i am sorry for wasting their time
Ahh that does clarify it a bit more. Hmm I'd personally say that it's more of trade hijacking then impersonation unless there's evidence of him changing his name and such.
Although this is shitty practice it happens all the time. I don't think that warrants a scammer tag as trade hijacking is frowned upon on some sites, it is not scamming. Scamming is trying to lie in order to steam and take nothing in return. Just like there is no sharking tags I don't think that trade hijacking tags exist (I may be wrong but I personally never saw one).
