What happened? Description:

Deltigre added me under another alias, "mb [⇄] S>300 Unusuals.," and asked if I was interested in trading my TF2 unusuals for his. We went back and forth for a moment, before coming to an agreement, my Smoking Charmer's Chapeau for his Electrostatic War Pig. I asked him if he was okay with this overpay on his part, and his response was that he was planning on collecting the (my) hat.

We were about to go through with a trade offer, until he stopped and questioned if I had mobile auth activated. It was not. He told me the trade was off, as he was unwilling to wait for an item on hold. I explained to him that I could activate it, and he was mulled over, telling me to contact him in 7 days, after the auth has been fully activated.

Fast forward to now. I contacted him, and asked him if he was up for the trade. After some rehashing, he accepted the original terms, but this time going on about a sort of verification/fraudulent item nonsense and made adamant that we needed a valve "moderator" to review the items just in case. He added this "moderator," named Ryūjin, and included him in the chat. The mod (Ryūjin) then went on about the steps needed, and blah, blah, blah.

The first meeting with Deltigre was sketchy, and as time went by, he proved to me that he was more than just trading.

I believe Deltigre is/was attempting to scam me of my items via a friend/alt as middleman.​
